What comes with your German Shepherd Puppy?

Your puppy comes with his first shot, 4 de-wormings, microchip, vaccination schedule for when you get home, starter puppy food (large breed) and Nuvet Antioxidant supplements, a leash, training treat and poop bag holder, and shavings to help with potty training. And of course, AKC registration papers and a bill of sale with a health and hip guarantee! (Try to find another German Shepherd Breeder that does that!)

Can families visit the ranch before reserving a puppy?

Can I get a puppy if I live out of state?

We certainly can help with that! While our ranch is based in San Luis Obispo, California, our dogs have found loving homes all over the country. We offer safe out-of-state airline shipping, as well as local delivery options, to ensure your new companion reaches you comfortably. Local delivery is currently $2.50 a mile (from my door to yours) or airline travel will add an extra $1200.

Do you offer dog training services?

Absolutely! I believe in making forever friends, which means lifetime support for you. I have written 2 books to help you get started, “Puppies; an Ounce of Prevention” and “Dog’s; a Pound of Cure.” Furthermore, when you purchase a German Shepherd puppy or Labrador Retriever Puppy from Varian Kennels, you will get 10% off any personal training sessions you need to help you navigate every stage of your dog's life. The GREAT START Training Package: If you would like your pup already started in training and fully vaccinated (except for rabies), then this is for you! We keep the pup until 12 weeks of age, so he/she would have had 2 vaccinations and 5 wormers, shampoo bath, flea treatment, and nails trimmed just before pickup. We continue to socialize the puppy to dogs, cats, and strangers, car rides, housebreak (crate train), and teach him/her the basics: sit, stay, come, down, fetch, look, leave it, walk on a leash, no jumping, and wait at doors, as well as some simple puppy agility. You will receive an e-collar for continued off-leash work and a private training session at pickup. The cost is $5000. (Not included with the price of puppy) If you would like weekly video updates as well as a final video showing off all of your new dog's skills, this can be added for an additional cost of $500.
