Training Services: The "Other" Dog Whisperer!
Some people want there dog to behave like a service dog should. Others just want "Fido" not to jump! Whatever your needs, we're here to help!
Just like you see on the "Dog Whisperer," we can help solve many undesired behaviors in just ONE session! Jumping, barking, aggression, fear, pulling you down the street…you name it! We can also help you prepare your dog for the AKC CGC, therapy dog tests, and public access tests for service dogs! Although we personalize each class for your dog's needs.
Private Training Sessions: $200 for a 1 and 1/2 hour session ($100/ hour pro-rated for minutes after that) plus travel if needed.* (One dog/ one person) Additonal "observers" are $50 each per session, which is a great deal as observers will learn as much as you!!!!
Combine classes for a Full Training Retreat! and take your dog's training (and YOUR LEVEL OF DOG COMMUNICATION/ UNDERSTANDING OF DOG PSYCHOLOGY) beyond what you can imagine! There is SO MUCH MORE in a dog's mind, let me help you see it, which will last well beyond the dog you have now! Stay at a nearby hotel, or at Varian Kennels own "Glamour Camp!" Foundations : Your Starting point for dog training!

This is where the rubber meets the road. Now it's YOUR turn to train! I coach YOU as you practice your dog handling skills around my pack of dogs, cats, and farm animals, or at Atascadero lake, walking past lots of other people, kids, dogs, cars, bicycles and more.

Beginning Off Leash Dog Training
So, your dog is doing fairly well on a leash and gets along with other dogs, but when off-leash, he doesn't always come back to you? This is the workshop for you. You will learn how to use e-collars to get your dog's attention no matter where he is. This class includes a review of your on leash handling before we move off leash. *E-collars will be for sale here if you don't have one, $200

Advanced Off Leash dog training
We take both on and off leash training to a higher level in this clinic. You will be challenging your dog to focus on leash in increasingly difficult scenarios before practicing off leash recall, sit, down and down stays at the dog beach!

Advanced Downtown dog training: Therapy dog and Service Dog Preparation!
San Luis Obispo or a busy Town near YOU!
This on-leash class helps you and your dog navigate the busy streets of the city. You will have your dog relaxed and focused as we pass by many people, cars and other dogs, surrounded by all kinds of noises and other distractions. We also practice going up stairs, elevators and more. I recommend ending the class with lunch or dinner with your dog at an outside café to practice down stay as we eat!

Due to rotator I am only training DOGS 75 LBS OR LESS! and Red Zone dogs (one's that truly want to attack or hurt another animal or human) must be 50lbs or less.
